Chuao Chocolatier wanted to pivot its newest chocolate line to appeal to a more health conscious crowd. Moon Bark is a high quality chocolate with superfoods, made for wild dreamers and adventurers who aren't afraid to indulge.

Previous Design / The packaging was created to appeal to those interested in a more active, outdoorsy lifestyle by banking on the monoline and stamp/crest trends happening at the time.
Updated Design / A raw kraft paper was chosen to be the backdrop of this design to better align with the kind of products you would expect to find in this market. An image of the chocolate was re-introduced to the front, as consumers wanted to know what to expect inside, especially with more exotic ingredients than you'd typically see in a chocolate bar. I leaned in to a more dreamy look while keeping the essence of the original branding elements.
